We are so glad you are considering visiting our church in the rolling hills of Lawrence County. We acknowledge that attending a church for the first time can be intimidating, and we want you to feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. If you have never been to church before or it’s been a while since you attended, please know that we are looking forward to meeting you and getting to know you. All who want to learn more about Christ or who want to share their love for Jesus with others are welcome at Christ United Church.

Where do my Children Go?
We value the voices of our youngest attenders at Christ United Church and want to invest in their faith walk. Children are welcome to stay in worship with their families or attend our children's church activities during the 11 am service. Whether they decide to stay in worship or go to children's church we welcome them every Sunday.

What should I wear?
Wear what makes you feel most comfortable! You’ll see a mix of styles at Christ United. The 11am service tends to be a little more casual, whereas the 9am service is a bit more formal. The most important thing is that you are present in mind and body and are ready to worship God with our church family

Do I have to give during the offering?
Giving is completely up to you! The money given during the offering helps support the mission, ministries and operations of Christ United Church.

What service should I attend?
Both worship services are bible centered, and worship focused. The 9am service is based on a more traditional format with traditional hymns and traditional liturgy. The 11am service has a contemporary flare with modern worship music. There is an option for children's church at the 11am service. We encourage you to try both, and let us know which you prefer.
